Rick Johnson graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA in 1980 with a degree in Finance and Property Management.  He has vast experience in sales and marketing. Rick earned his real estate license in 1980 and his Broker license in 1988. He served on the Scenic Coast Board of Directors for 10 years: as President in 1993, Professional Standards Chairman in 1995, and Grievance Committee Chairman in 1997, and State Director and Political Coalition Chairperson. Rick has represented clients in over 600 transactions. For more than 20 Years, he co-owned Johnson Starlings Real Estate and Valley Management Services in Los Osos.  He and his wife Amy (also a broker) raised both of their children here on the beautiful Central Coast, contributing to, coaching and sponsoring many school and charitable events. Amy Johnson graduated from Cuesta College, San Luis Obispo, California in 1980 with an Associates degree in Business Management. She then studied Interior Design at Cal Poly. Amy began her career in Real Estate in 1986 as a sales person, and in 1994 became a Real Estate Broker. For 13 years, she specialized in new-home sales for builders in SLO County. Amy owned and operated Lifestyles Realty and she was also a co-owner for 20 years in Valley Management Services, a property management company, and Johnson-Starlings Real Estate in Los Osos. They sold the business and building in 2011 and today Amy is happily with West Coast Properties in Morro Bay.
She and husband Rick (also a broker-associate with West Coast Properties) raised their 2 children in Los Osos where they attended K-12 in the San Luis Coastal school district.  During those school years, Amy was active and involved with the area youth sports programs, and today she is an active member of the Cal Poly Stampede Club.
